The Region of South Moravia organised on 20-21 April 2023 in Lipka – Rozmarýnek, a workshop on “Reliable Information and Carbon Footprint Reduction” where participants sought out weaknesses in current agricultural practices, landscape management, and models, methods, and approaches related to climate change.

The 16 primary-school teachers who attended the workshop conducted in-depth analyses of the requirements leading to climate-smart agriculture and its impact on key stakeholders in the field. The goal was to help teachers gain a deeper understanding of the issue and enable them to transfer this knowledge into the educational process.

The workshop also included recognizing reliable information and setting boundaries for trustworthy sources. Teachers set personal commitments to reduce their carbon footprints, shared their progress, and received badges and stickers to promote the cause further.
